We had an incredibly wonderful week. I know many were not so fortunate, but lucky for us we were at home.
Here’s our week . . .
The boys love watching movies in the car. We turn them on to keep them awake. They refused to come inside so we let them watch for a little while.
Snow Day snack time.
Star anise for pho.
During the storm, I made pho. It was a success.
The boys were so excited to get outside.
This was Silas’ first time to play in the snow.
They loved making snowballs.
While they were outside, I made donuts.Play-dough is nice distraction.
Drunken noodles- another success.
Spinach and Mango Smoothies.
Sometimes he can be a grumpy Gus.
Another Brooks’ original.
Pho Ga (Vietnamese Chicken Noodle Soup) with all the fixins.
Sunday morning perfection.
We decorated cookies this week. It took Silas about 10 minutes to put each individual sprinkle on his cookie. It took Brooks 5 seconds to dump his on top of his own cookie.
Snowy evening walk.
The boys had some fun with icicles in a parking lot. Brooks called them frozen fractals.
What a great week. It was nice to be able to use the word snowy to describe our week.
See you next time!
