Independence

Every week I find Brooks wanting to do more things on his own. I’m not complaining, but it can become a lot to clean up and keep track of him.

He has started to completely feed himself including yogurt. He actually does a pretty good job.

We’ve recently been suffering from allergies and colds, so Brooks learned to blow his own nose. The only problem is he wants to do it all the time.

This last video doesn’t really show his independence, but I just thought it was funny. He was napping, at least I thought.

Also, we have hit a milestone – no paci! We gave it up at the beginning of February. It took him about 3 days. Suprisingly it wasn’t as hard as I thought. I was really dreading it because it meant we would have to reteach him to calm himself and it meant that he was really a toddler.
