It was another busy weekend here in Atlanta.
I love this picture. Brooks has just begun to really enjoy the playground. He was so dirty after this outing.
Brooks attended his first birthday party this past weekend. It was for our neighbor Andrew who was turning 3. His party was at Build A Bear. All the kids got to make a stuff animal and then we all had Chick Fil A (woohoo!) and then cake.
Another great picture. He adores our little neighbor Susannah (so do I).
And this is birthday boy Andrew (he is such a cutie). He is a bit camera shy so this was the only picture I was able to snap of him.
Later that afternoon, we headed downtown to go the High Art Museum. Because we got there right before it closed we pretty much had the museum to ourselves.
It was alot of fun, but it really made me miss D.C.
Then on Sunday, Mark, Brooks, my two neighbors (Elizabeth and Janet), and me ran the Duluth Fall Festival 5K.
This was one of my goals after I had Brooks. It was an awesome experience. We were not first, but definitely not last. In fact, we were the second to cross the finish line with a stroller – not bad.
This video is of Brooks learning how to play catch. He looooves it. He laughs the whole time. We thought he needed to learn how to do something else besides talk on the phone.
